Our Mission:
We are a Club dedicated to improving volleyball skills. The Trailblazers VBC Staff is dedicated to providing our athletes with reasonably priced fees to enjoy and grow in the sport of volleyball. Our knowledgeable and experienced coaches focus on all the skills of volleyball and development as well as team offense, defense, and communication. We believe our Club helps young athletes develop skills that will help them in "life" by teaching them to set challenging, but achievable goals. We help our athletes attain their goals with personal commitment to the game of volleyball and support each other and work together as a team. All of our coaches have a passion for the game of volleyball and we hope to pass along our love of this game to every player in our club.

Important Announcements:  Lindsay's Law  Sudden Cardiac Arrest
The OVR legal counsel has directed the OVR to comply with the Ohio Revised Code, 3707.51, LINDSEY’S LAW, sudden cardiac arrest. The law applies to the OVR, as well as, individual clubs – both groups are listed in the provision as “youth sports organizations.” Lindsey’s Law requirements that are relevant to the OVR/Clubs

1.) The youth athlete (<20 years old) and their parent/guardian must receive a handout and view a video on sudden cardiac arrest. The OVR will provide access to a) the handout, b) link to the video.
2.) The youth and parent must SIGN and SUBMIT a standardized form (being provided to club directors by the OVR) acknowledging having received the handout and reviewing the video. The standardized form will be completed by EACH TEAM in the club. The club will retain the original and send a copy to the OVR office. Clubs must maintain records of original form.
3.) Club directors and coaches are advised to review the handout but are REQUIRED to view the video! Coaches should sign the TEAM form.
4.) The OVR “shall establish penalties for a coach who violates ORC sec. 3707.58E.” Directors/coaches violating Lindsey’s Law are subject to sanction/suspension of coaching privileges in the OVR.
I must remind everyone, this is a Law in the State of Ohio. This law applies to all clubs that participate in an event in Ohio; or if the club is based in Ohio.   The  OVR requires compliance by March 1, 2018. Do not hesitate to contact my office if you have questions. Bob Price Commissioner Ohio Valley Region – USA Volleyball
